Our purpose is teaching Ashtanga Yoga and Integral in its purest state. Following the teachings of our Guru Sri K Pattabhi Jois (maximum exponent and responsible for the ashtanga yoga practice to not disappeared).
We are the pioneers of Ashtanga Yoga in Spain and the first Spaniards to practice this discipline, with a life dedicated entirely to yoga.

To start we suggest start with Integral, where we show the Uyaji breath, as successfully perform the asanas (postures), and a small introduction to meditation.
Once you have acquired certain basic concepts, you can switch to the ashtanga class that is more demanding or stay in Integral.

Anand Zorzo was born in a yoguis family. His first travel was to the Indian when he was only 4 years old.
His parents, Tomas zorzo y Camino diez, were one of the first occidental for study with Sri K Pattabhi Jois. Pioneers of Ashtanga Yoga in Spain. Then Anand was introduced to the yoga world even when his mother was pregnant and practicing yoga.
The first time that he studied Ashtanga Yoga with Pattabhi Jois with only 10 years old. The youngest unique occidental student.
Anand travel to Mysore for study with Sri K Pattabhi Jois, Sharath, and Saraswati. In 1999 he traveled to Canada for continue practicing yoga for perform the Teacher Training Cours in the Yoga Sivananda Center. In 2002 and 2003 he studied a very intense course with theory and practice with his father Tomas Zorzo.
in 2005 Anand opened is first Yoga Center in La Coruña while studing physical education INEF. In 2006 left his center for help to the new center in Oviedo.
In 2007 make his tenth travel to Mysore, where was titled by Sri K Pattabhi Jois,Mysore, India (KPJAYI), for the first serie lesson.
In 2007 open his center in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (Canary Islands).
In 2010 was authorized by Sri K Pattabhi Jois Ashtanga Yoga Institud,Mysore, India (KPJAYI), for the second serie complete lesson.

Julia Montesdeoca comes to the world of yoga through dance, which she practiced since she was little. After trying different yoga styles and schools without convincing her, try the Ashtanga Yoga with Anand Zorzo becoming her first yoga teacher and she will teach you step by step the practice.

She is currently pregnant and has been practicing yoga throughout her pregnancy.
New Moon and Full Moon are days were we should not practice Ashtanga Yoga, according to our teacher Sri K Pattabhi Jois.
There whould be no Ashtanga morning class on does days.
What is the reasoning behind this?
Like all things of a watery nature (human beings are about 70% water), we are affected by the phases of the moon. The phases of the moon are determined by the moon’s relative position to the sun. Full moons occur when they are in opposition and new moons when they are in conjunction. Both sun and moon exert a gravitational pull on the earth. Their relative positions create different energetic experiences that can be compared to the breath cycle. The full moon energy corresponds to the end of inhalation when the force of prana is greatest. This is an expansive, upward moving force that makes us feel energetic and emotional, but not well grounded. The new moon energy corresponds to the end of exhalation when the force of apana is greatest. Apana is a contracting, downward moving force that makes us feel calm and grounded, but dense and disinclined towards physical exertion.
Practicing Ashtanga Yoga over time makes us more attuned to natural cycles. Observing moon days is one way to recognize and honor the rhythms of nature so we can live in greater harmony with it.

Following the tradition of the master of Ashtanga Yoga (Sri K Pattabhi Jois) the days of full moon and new moon there is no ashtanga class in the morning and in the afternoon we will do special class of meditation, opening of hips meditation.
